How might we attract a larger local audience to Ball State Public Media?
The Future of Ball State Public media is leveraging the rich history of NPR and PBS to develop high-fidelity prototypes, including three distinct series: a musical performance featuring local artists, a lighthearted instructional painting lesson, and a community-focused interview. All of these programs will be accompanied by social media promotion. Each program has been segmented into low, mid, and high engagement tiers, directing viewers of one program to explore the others. These programs strive to foster connections between Ball State Public media, college students, and the greater Muncie community.
Ball State Public Media’s NOW ENTERING… is a video scrapbook of the people, places and history of towns as seen through the eyes of its residents.
Our Team.
Ball State Public Media is an innovative approach to fulfilling part of the University’s strategic mission to provide a meaningful educational experience with an unparalleled immersive learning opportunity for students. As those students generate content and produce programming, this initiative also provides to the community purposeful, deliberate content on topics and issues that matter most and showcase continued progress by our University and community.
